Summerton Park

Attention Town of Summerton Community:
There is a park being built on the corner of Larry King Jr. Hwy and North Church Street beside the Dollar Tree.

Taw Caw Water Phase 1

April 26, 2019

Phase 1 will consist of connecting the Goat island water system with the Foxboro water system and extending the main line to the Taw Caw Recreation Park. After this is completed and funding is secured for Phase II we will extend the main line to the Gin Pond water system. Phase III consist of building a 100,000-gallon elevated tank.

North Summerton Water Project

October 03, 2017

The North Summerton water project will include tying into the City of Manning's water system in Ram Bay, loop the water line from Edwards Drive to Jack Touchberry, install new lines down Carter Rd and into Challenger Court. In addition to that, we will be installing new water meters to improve accuracy and 9 automatic flushers on the water lines to ensure clean and fresh drinking water.

Project plans have been approved by USDA and we should put this project out for bid by mid-2019.
